Amtrak's Electric Traction Department works to repair catenary damage on the Hell Gate Line caused by an earlier derailment at CSX's Oak Point Yard in the Bronx borough of NYC. The derailment resulted in a boxcar splitting a switch and hitting an original New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad catenary bridge which shut down evening service on Amtrak's Hell Gate Line. |
