| Old Glory Still Hangs - Here is railfanning the CSX River Subdivision from Stony Point Battlefield. The north shores of the historic park offers scenic views of the Hudson River, freight line and region. A southbound stack train is passing beneath a dilapidated stone aggregate conveyor left from mining operations of stone from the Tomkins Cove Quarry. Also in view is a fishing boat which was run aground and abandoned in the 1980s. Remnants of an American Flag still stand on the sunken vessel . |
