| UP train YPR60B passes CY Tower as it crosses over from the Harvard Sub to the North Ave Yard lead. Im not sure what year the CP diamonds were ripped out, but its been nearly 20 years since the last CP train passed CY Tower. The connection on the right is what the Chicago Terminal used to access Goose Island until that rail business dried up. Today, CY Tower is down to two UP freights per week that head downtown to service the Chicago Tribune and Blommer Chocolate. |
