The Waterloo to Fort Dodge daily local has the max amount power allowed in a consist on a train, which is 7 units. This job is deadheading power to Fort Dodge for upcoming loaded unit trains that will originate out west in the coming days. The train is seen here leaving Waterloo on its normal afternoon departure. The job has work at New Hartford, Ackley, Iowa Falls, and Webster City for a full 12 hour trip ahead.
