Remarks & Notes

GTW 5850 and 5851 are unwelcome new arrivals on the DWP for railfans. In summer 1983 they have replaced aging DWP RS-11s which were the backbone of the railroad since replacing steam in the latter 1950s. The units were actually built for the Rock Island in November 1978, and featured 5 chime horns identical to DMIR's.
