Remarks & Notes

After a successful first fireup, Nevada Northern 81 has just had her ashpan emptied for the first time in over half a century. The humble GE 25 tonner is a fantastic shop switcher, but did have trouble moving the large steam locomotive with a boiler and tender full of water up the grade to the ash pit.
