Remarks & Notes

The WC was nearly 10 years old in spring 1997, and had completely changed the nature of railroading in Wisconsin from the days of the traditional Soo Line. One example was the frequent run through power as scene here in the form of BN SD40-2 no. 6844. Of course by 1997 BN was already history for two years.
