Seven-year-old Southern Pacific GP38-2 4800 leads a "Hauler" passing through Walnut on its way from West Colton Yard to Los Angeles’ Taylor Yard. Three SP GP38-2s are teamed with an SDP45 and a GP9 to get this train through the San Gabriel Valley. (Walnut, California – July 1987).
