When a train of private cars stopped at Burlington Northern's yard in Klamath Falls, Oregon during Labor Day weekend 1995, it was an event. The Amtrak special was the second of two trains from Los Angeles going to the AAPRCO convention in Nelson, British Columbia. Several BN employees and their families watched the train depart northbound.
