| After spending 28 years in Broad Ripple Park as a static display after its 1955 retirement, NKP 587 was leased to the Indiana Transportation Museum in 1983. For the next 5 years, ITM restored the 1918-built Baldwin to operating condition, where it is seen on its first operational run. Tom Golden photo. |
