Taking RS1325 #31 to its final home. NS train D49 has I&M RS1325 #31 in tow as it makes its trip from the Tazewell & Peoria yard. The locomotive is bound for the Monticello Railway Museum in Monticello, Illinois. MRM purchased the locomotive from Larry's Truck Electric after it was retired from the I&M. Only two of these locomotives were manufactured, both in 1060, and both for the then Chicago & Illinois Midland. You can still find sister locomotive #30 out in the wild, at the Atlantic & Western railroad in Sanford, NC.
