| With its train solid and with about 20 minutes to go until the big event, Soo Line #1003 eases out of the small yard that services the Larpen Metallurgical facility in Hartford. The crew will run around the Santa Train consist and shove into town tender first: quite an unusual maneuver for this train as it has never gone tender first in years past. Those who shot 1003 at this particular time got off lucky as cloudy and rainy weather was the complete norm for the rest of this weekend. |
