Ballast train W300, with WAMX 4192 in charge, takes the West Pass for a Muscoda, WI bound empty grain train led by WAMX 4191. The 4191 and 4192 were both originally C&O SD40s. Engineer Heeren is on the ground to give a roll-by inspection of the grain train, as he exchanges a wave with Conductor Schwartz.
