| Penultimate 67Z: The second to last NS 67Z heads west on the Norfolk Southern Lehigh Line. The reason for the abolishment of 66Z/67Z was Norfolk Southern lost their contract with Phillips 66 to CSX. Serendipitously, the Illinois Terminal heritage unit in charge, blending in with the spring scene. In the photo, the train is making extra horn signals alerting people swimming/diving off a trestle ahead to clear the way. The trailing unit is NS 4147 (AC44C6M; rebuilt from C44-9W NS 8921 in March of 2018). |
