| As a southbound MTA Q Line train approaches Flatbush’s Parkside Avenue Station, it diverges to the outer tracks. This is where NYCT’s IND Brighton Line expands from a two-track line to a four-track line in order to let the B Line Sixth Avenue Express trains pass through this station without any delays caused by the slower Q Line 2 Avenue/Broadway Express trains.
