The Shot. MHWA 2453 (née-Erie Lackawanna 2453, Alco C425, 10/1964) passes the watch tower on Schuyler Street in Utica, NY on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. This few blocks of street running is a prized location for railfans. Due to a mechanical failure of New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway 3040, Genesee Valley Transportation Co., Inc. MHWA 2453 was borrowed to cover the Utica, New York UT-1 operation.
