With the introduction of PTC on the NJ Transit Newark Division, these units will not be able to run on this trackage after December 31, 2020. On Friday, November 6, 2020, Conrail Shared Assets OI16 is seen crossing over Morses Creek while servicing the Bayway Refinery in Linden, New Jersey, with Goethals Bridge in the background. This and other NS units not so equipped with compatible PTC systems will still be able to lead on most other Norfolk Southern trackage, or other Conrail Shared Assets assignments that do not cross Amtrak or the Newark Division of New Jersey Transit.
