    Back in the day, when you could still find the B&O running EMD F units daily, in West Virginia, there was a guy who was working on a technique called the " zoom pan" where he would attempt to lock focus with an oncoming train and zoom out as the train approached. Here is one of his early attempts. Caption on slide states "B&O No. 722 in a pan at 1/5th, WV".
