Ten days into the new year, the handsome colors of the former D&H lead priority intermodal train #269 across the Mohawk River on a blue dome January morning. The 7300 former LV GP38-2s were some of my favorite engines to catch on the locals in the Capital Region usually based out of Kenwood Yard in Albany. The rare event of one of them leading a road train was always a big treat to see and capture in daylight! Happy New Year ;-)
