        Remarks & Notes
Amtrak’s westbound Southwest Chief, powered by a pair of GE B32BWH locomotives in “Pepsi Can” colors, flies through Ransom, Illinois, on May 2, 1992. Deadheading to California is a Amfleet coach behind the power, and today’s train has a former Santa Fe lounge substituting for the usual Superliner Sightseer lounge.
