    Remarks & Notes
A Q-train bound for LA, is about to stop at Fort Madison for a crew change. The train skirts the near banks of the Mississippi River the 1st couple miles into Iowa. For a fast built railroad, the Santa Fe really wound around here at Fort Madison to get into Iowa from Illinois and thru Fort Madison. Track speed is 20 mph across the bridge, and 30 mph around the curves til the depot behind me. An eastbound stack can be seen crossing the massive Mississippi River bridge in the upper right.
