It is September 1981 and the local section crew is assisting the crew of Train UT-52 with the brewery switch on Schuyler Street in Utica, NY. This is on the ex-Erie Lackawanna, a year before the NYS&W took over.
CR 7925 is the power with Sectionman Roger Nichols working at the switch, Section Foreman Bob Masca looking on and Brakeman Ronnie Hart patiently waiting by the locomotive. All of these guys were EL veterans.
Photo albums dedicated to the Men, and Women that keep the Railroad running around the clock 365 days a year. From Dispatcher to Track Gangs, these are the people that make the railroad moves!
Photographs where trains and people mix, weather it's street running, plant switching or carrying a unit grain train out of an elevator, it will be put here.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
