SD45's 40, 39 leads three SD40-2's 3513, 3464, 3522 on the remote Sharp Subdivision. It amazes me how Union Pacific, and Burlington Northern SD45's had relatively short life's. Yet Santa Fe, and Southern Pacific used them for twice the life span. Of course ATSF and SP sent them through rebuild programs. Tom Ellis photo.
