| While a fresh crew gets settled in aboard KCS 5000 they are overtaken and subsequently passed by CN 2000 leading an empty limestone train back to Proctor. KCS 5000 has a slightly longer trip ahead going all the way to New Orleans with 91 B&LE cars loaded with pellets. Both trains left the U.S. Steel Minntac plant. One delivering the raw materials and one leaving with the finished product. |
