      Remarks & Notes
With the rest of 781's power now in the clear, the power for 782 backs up to their train for the return trip to Lyons & eventually Savannah. Leading the return trip is the trio of SD40-3's that came from G&W sister line, the Buffalo & Pittsburgh. The arrival of 4 six axle locomotives in 2019 marked the first time they've ran on the former Seaboard Savannah to Montgomery main since the 1970's, but with the downturn in the expected traffic levels for 2020 due to COVID & the fact that they are limited as far north as East Dublin, they can only work two customers on the line & the arrival of the GE's, their time on the GC was short lived, since if they are not all gone now, they will be soon & off the other G&W properties.
