| Georgia Central L781 runs through Danville as the 4 engines gets ready to pull the 77 car train up the climb to Jeffersonville. With the line in need of higher horsepower engines that can traverse the entire line, G&W decided to lease some former Norfolk Southern B32-8's from GE, marking the return of GE locomotives to the GC since the high hood U23B's were retired in 2015. |
