| Moving at a great clip NS 22N (Rossville,TN-Jacksonville,FL/FEC) is putting forward the track of effort just north of the Whiteside Crossover on it's battle against the longer section of Raccoon Mountain grade. Believe it or not your looking down grade just about half of a mile stretch from where we're standing to the Running Water Creek Trestle. NS 22N at one time was terminating at Inman Yard one of the bustiest Intermodal Terminal in the South on the NS system. With the ever changing climate in the railroad industry due to PSR. the short distance double stack train trip with extended to Jacksonville for the FEC Bowden Yard. |
