Oldest and newest locomotives of the Rhaetian Railway on the way. Ge 4/4 I # 610 "Viamala" from 1953, with Ge 4/4 I # 603 "Badus" from 1947 in multiple control, are pulling the freight train 5047 from Landquart to Davos Platz, near Malans, with the Gauschla mountain in the background. Locomotive # 603 is 73 1/2 years in service now, the following pulled shunting locomotive Geaf 2/2 # 20607 was built in 2020 by StadlerRail and was the last of the newest series, with electro and battery drive. The # 20607 is going to Davos Platz, to change the shunter there. This is a regular procedere, to compensate for the different requirements and runtimes at the various stations.
