The two Talgo series 6 trainsets owned by Washington State, are headed for scrap in LA. WSDOT retired all of the Series 6 trainsets and they were implicated by the NTSB in the severity of the 12/18/2017 Dupont crash. Moments after passing my aerial photography platform, #865 met northbound Cascades 500. As I watched, and photographed the train rounding a curve, I listened to the 865 conductor offer to trade trainsets and the 500's conductor humming Chopin's Funeral March.
