Remarks & Notes

The last steam locomotive on the Grand Trunk's active roster, 4-8-4 Norther #6323 leads an excursion between Chicago and South Bend. The locomotive would be placed in storage in Michigan until donated to the Illinois Railway Museum in the early 1980s. Tom Golden photo.
