        US Army center cab # 8416 on display at the Lake Wales History Museum. The Whitcomb Locomotive Company built this 65 Ton 65DE19a Diesel-Electric Locomotive c/n 60422 in 1944 for the U.S. Army Transportation Corps as #8416. The low cab feature was for use in Europe during WWII. After the war unit sold to Virginia-Carolina Chemical #23, ex Mobil, ex IMC-Agrio..
