Remarks & Notes

An everyday looking scene which has now gone. Dover Marine station was renamed to Dover Western Docks in 1979, then completely closed in 1994 with the opening of the channel tunnel and the consequent reduction in ferry services. Here, in 1981 a 4VEP EMU is seen at Dover Western Docks station.
