Burlington Northern’s busy triple track main line is seeing the afternoon rush of commuter trains pass through. A westbound BN “dinky” accelerates after discharging passengers at the station stop of Hinsdale. By this date, commuter trains on BN’s route were powered with a mixture of BN E9s and Metra’s new F40PHM-2 units.
