Remarks & Notes 

      


      
N&W 2150 is the second engine of two Y6 types on an eastbound freight passing the Blue Ridge, Va. station. Y6 2150 was different from others in having aftercooler piping on the boiler as can be seen here. Class A 1226 had a similar installation. The weather was mostly overcast August 12 - 14 but I managed to take a few black-and-white images along with color slides on a trip by myself.
