Late on the afternoon of August 29, 2018, a Dakota, Missouri Valley & Western “corn train” trundles eastbound approaching Moffit, North Dakota. The unit train is powered by a pair of EMD SD60Fs that were acquired from Canadian National in October 2017, and were still showing off their “zebra stripe” colors. The train will tie up just south of town and continue east the next morning over the DMV&W’s Dakota Subdivision.
