        Remarks & Notes
On February 21, 2021, Prince George, BC - Edmonton, AB manifest train M34851 21 stalled west of Jackman on CN's Albreda Sub after trailing unit IC C40-8W 2461 called it quits. Trailing that, GMD1u 1423 had recently been retired in Prince George and is heading to Winnipeg, MB for an uncertain fate. Stopped behind M348's train was Vancouver, BC - Edmonton, AB empty grain train G83452 19. G834's train had a good Horsepower to Ton (HPT) ratio and it was decided that they would tie onto M348's tailend and shove them all the way to Wynd, 2.5 miles west of Jasper, AB. M34851 21 was 182 cars long (11733') and G83452 19 was 174 cars long (9851') making for a very long 356 car (21584') train! Click here for a video; https://youtu.be/uYvuYuC1uho
