Three C30-7A’s and a GP38-2, typical power for Conrail train CGAL (Corning, NY - Allentown, PA) lead the train across the Susquehanna River at Towanda, Pennsylvania. This view is still possible today, but tree growth on the island in the river blocks several cars.
