All trains originating at Union Pacific’s West Colton Yard depart eastbound, and westbound trains, such as MWCLB-09, a manifest heading from West Colton Yard to Long Beach, use the balloon track to make a 360o turn. As it exits the balloon train, the power (AC6000CW 7066, AC4400CWs 6768, 5922 & 6243, ES44AC 8073 and SD70ACe-T4 3027), now heading west, passes the rear of the train, which is still heading eastward.
