| Caldwell County Railroad rosters 2 ex-SCL GP16s. Both are in regular use but today the 1811 rolls out of the small yard in Hickory as it heads to the NS interchange to pick up some customer cars. Current traffic only necessitates one loco but a second is kept at the ready as a back up.
1811 is part way through a cosmetic restoration. |
