After plowing the former Rio Grande narrow gauge main line east to Cresco, Colorado, Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad’s Rotary OY rests in front of the coaling tower at Chama, New Mexico, on the night of February 29, 2020. Tomorrow will further test the machine on the deeper snows of 10,015-foot Cumbres Pass.
