| Southbound 514 trundles compass east past MP 103 of the Kap Sub between Mattice and Opasatika on a sunny spring afternoon. ONR took over this portion of the former NTR and CN transcon (Winnipeg to Quebec City) between Cochrane and Hearst back in 1993 and it’s hard to believe that CN was running detoured stack trains over these rickety rails only a little over a year ago, coming full circle in a sense. |
