Union Pacific's General Electric U50s generated 5000-hp, were the frist big double engined units to arrive in October 1963. Units 48 and 41 powers a long westbound freight up Sherman Hill, Wyoming on October 19, 1967. Unknown photographer photo, from my slide collection.
