Racing A Setting Sun. On Friday, November 6, 2020, Norfolk Southern Corp 1700 (Erie Lackawanna Heritage, SD45-2) leads Conrail Shared Assets OI-16 by Tremley Point in Linden, New Jersey. The sun in the sky was drawing low, as was time to catch this unit on OI-16. Since it is not equipped with the proper equipment to operate in the lead over the lines of the Newark Division of New Jersey Transit, it now stays on Shared Assets trackage when leading.
