They're Baaaack!
After spending a few weeks working on a maintenance-of-way train, supposedly retired 29-year-old F59PH 868 is back in passenger service! Metrolink train 812 approaches the Palmyra Avenue grade crossing on SCRRA’s Orange Sub as it makes its way from Oceanside to San Bernardino behind 868 and F125 942. These two locomotives were built 27 years apart: 868 in 11/92 and 942 in 1/20. (Orange, California – June 4, 2021) |
