| Iconic Gotthard locomotive Ae 6/6 # 11411 "ZUG" of SBB Historic Team Erstfeld is pulling the Gotthard adventure train 31421 from Erstfeld over the Gotthard mountain line to Bodio, entering the 74 meter long Artoito tunnel in the Monte Piottino gorge, between Rodi-Fiesso and Faido. The photographer was standing outside the tunnel on the other side. The sixaxle 4300 kW locomotive was built in 1956 by SLM, BBC and MFO and is operated by Team Erstfeld Bahnhistorischer Verein am Gotthard. |
