| Donner Pass Shed 10
Climbing the granite Sierra Nevada Mountains is a battle that has existed since 1869. Chinese immigrant laborers hand chiseled this railroad to open America. The railroad is still a spectacle and engineering marvel. This early morning double coal empty is threading Shed 10 on the 1.8% climb towards Donner Summit. |
