Kansas City Southern ES44AC 4470, teamed with BNSF ES44DC 7792, is hustling BNSF train Q-PEALAC1-30A (a 59 car, 4783 ton, 5767-foot Guaranteed Service Intermodal train heading from Pearland TX to Los Angeles CA) across the La Mirada/Santa Fe Springs border on the Independence Day weekend. About twenty minutes behind this train is one with two Norfolk Southern locomotives on it. (Santa Fe Springs, California – July 3, 2021)
