Summer Cape Commuting. On Sunday, June 27, 2021, MBTX 1136 (Mass Dot, GP40MC) leads First Class Club Car MBTX 225 (BTC-1C, Pullman, 1978-79) and 5 more coaches with a trailing locomotive across Cohasset Narrows in Buzzards Bay towards South Station in Boston, Massachusetts. New for this year's service is the introduction of a "First Class Club Car", which the CapeFLYER states "features large leather reclining seats with footrests and tray tables". The first class service is an additional $10 each way, added on to the $22 one way cost of a trip to Hyannis or $40 round trip. While there had been plans to add more than 1 round trip per day on its Friday/Saturday/Sunday/holiday schedule, the CapeFLYER reported that negotiations to lower the Cape Cod Canal Railroad Bridge more frequently were not successful.
