| Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 3/4 # 9 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke (DFB) is leaving Muttbach-Belvédère with the blue train 134 from Oberwald to Realp, after the crossing with the red train 133. Shoving through the 1874 meter long Furka summit tunnel to Furka DFB is diesel tractor Tm 2/2 # 506. This is a requirement of the FOT (Federal Office of Transport) for safety reasons due to the 3.5 % slope and sometimes poor adhesion conditions. |
