    Remarks & Notes
This seaside town is Whitby in North Yorkshire and since 1897 it has become famous as the place where Dracula landed in England. On the far right of the picture are the ruins of Whitby Abbey, built in the 13th century, and to the left is a church on a cliff. It was here, according to Bram Stoker that Dracula's ship ran aground and a large black dog leapt from the decking onto the sand. vampires are well known for being able to transform into dogs by the way. More mundanely a class 26 is in charge of the train from Whitby to Pickering, a service run by the North Yorkshire Moors preserved railway even though these are British Railways tracks.
